Margaret Burns is the firm's estates and trusts law clerk. She has over 25 years’ experience in the legal field with over 20 years specializing in the area of wills, and estate administration.

When Margaret began her career in the estates area of law she knew she had found her niche.  It is important to her to handle the process of the estate administration with compassion, and make the administration progress as smooth as possible for the clients.

Margaret provides support to the lawyers in the firm.  She works directly with estate trustees assisting them in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities.

Her extensive experience allows her to assist estate trustees in all aspects of the administration and management of estates and trusts from the onset of the estate to the final distribution of the assets.

Margaret drafts estate related court documents, including applications for certificates of appointment and resealing foreign grants. She also assists with estate trustee accounts.
