Welcome back Geenath!

After completing his articling term at Goddard Gamage LLP, I am pleased to announce that Geenath Radhananthan has returned as an associate lawyer. From the start of his legal journey, Geenath has been guided by a deep belief that the law should be a tool for empowerment, not a barrier. Discovering talent who share our firm’s values, our compassion for our clients, and our dedication to the practice of estates, capacity, disability, and elder law has been very rewarding and Geenath is the latest example of it!

During law school, Geenath worked with the Human Rights Legal Support Centre representing clients in proceedings before the Human Rights Tribunal. He volunteered at Fair Change Community Services, a pro bono legal clinic supporting street-involved individuals. At Osgoode Community and Legal Aid Services Program, Geenath provided interpretation in Tamil for lawyers and volunteers, and served as an advisor on Tamil culture and language. He volunteers regularly in Toronto’s Flemingdon Park.

These formative experiences affirmed his strength in meeting people where they are and helping them navigate legal systems that can often feel inaccessible. That commitment to advocacy and practical problem-solving led Geenath to Goddard Gamage, where he summered and articled before joining the firm as an associate.

His practice spans both litigation and solicitor’s work across all areas of estates, capacity, and elder law. He brings a thoughtful, research-informed approach to his files, shaped by his academic background in political science and sociology, as well as his cultural background and linguistic talent, and grounded in genuine care for his clients.

We are so pleased that Geenath has chosen Goddard Gamage LLP as the place to grow in his career. I expect we'll learn as much from him as he does from us.
